At Park Güell, perched high on the hills, you'll step into what was originally intended as a gated community for the city's well-to-do. It was opened to everyone when Gaudí passed away in 1926, and at that point, the architect himself had called it home for 20 years.
The Gaudí Experience is a thrilling introduction to the visionary's extraordinary ideas. His designs and architectural masterpieces make up some of Barcelona's best buildings. Dive into the 4D world of Catalan Modernism and learn what made Gaudí tick.
There are two parts to the experience: 17 minutes in the 4D cinema and a 20-minute exhibition. Thanks to an impressive surround-sound screen, stereoscopic vision, plus moving seats with special effects, you'll see – and even feel – the ways in which Gaudí was inspired by nature all around him.
